  • Lafayette

    Lafayette was incorporated in 1968 and currently has a population of about 25,000 people. The “small town downtown” area has developed into a wonderful combination of restaurants with plenty of outdoor eating, varied retail shops, grocery stores and state-of-the-art library. Lafayette is noted for its high quality of life with top-rated schools, low crime rate, clean air, mild climate and oak tree-studded hills. Located between Berkeley and Walnut Creek, Lafayette has its own Bay Area Rapid Transit station (BART) and is only a 25 minute BART ride from San Francisco and an hour BART ride from SFO.

  • Moraga

    With a population of almost 17,000 people, the Town of Moraga, incorporated in 1974, is nestled in a valley in the beautiful hillsides of the East Bay between Orinda and Lafayette. The Lafayette-Moraga Regional Trail passes through the town, offering residents miles of biking and hiking. Located in the center of the town is the Moraga Commons with play structures, picnic sites, a skate park and a band shell with outside seating where concerts are held during the warm summer evenings. Moraga is home to St. Mary’s College and known for its excellent schools, high quality of life and low crime rate.

  • Orinda

    Orinda is a family-oriented community with a semi-rural setting. In contrast to the more urban existence of the surrounding area, the tree-studded hillsides of the 12.8 square-mile City contribute to Orinda's aesthetic beauty. Natural beauty, excellent schools, safety, history and culture make Orinda a delightful place in which to work, live, visit and play! Orinda was incorporated in 1985, has a population of approximately 17,600 people and is just a 20 minute BART ride away from San Francisco Bay locations and activities.

  • Pleasant Hill

    Located off Interstate 680, just north of Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill has a population of almost 35,000 people. The family-friendly city has several parks and a vibrant down town area of diverse restaurants, retail shops and large theater. It is the home of Diablo Valley College and a campus of John F. Kennedy University. The Pleasant Hill BART station offers a reasonable commute time to San Francisco Bay locations. Pleasant Hill has been described as having a “warm summer Mediterranean” climate and has a landscape of valleys and rolling hills.

  • Walnut Creek

    While Walnut Creek is a larger city of almost 65,000 people, according to Wikipedia, “Walnut Creek owns more open space per capita than any other community in the state of California”. The East Bay Regional Park District operates Diablo Foothills Regional Park and Castle Rock Regional Recreation Area, both in Walnut Creek. This is a walking-friendly city with high-end shops and fine dining as well as a great newer library and the beautiful Lesher Center for the Arts with its art gallery, live theater and California Symphony. There is a wonderful variety of neighborhoods, and Walnut Creek BART provides convenient access to San Francisco locations.

  • Alamo

    Located between Walnut Creek and Danville, Alamo is an unincorporated area of about 15,000 people. This small town has several excellent parks including the Las Trampas Regional Wilderness which contains numerous plant and animal communities and waterfalls. Alamo is also known for its excellent schools and low crime rate.

  • Danville

    Near Mt. Diablo State Park, just off Interstate 680, the population of the Town of Danville is about 43,000 people. The Iron Horse Regional Trail runs right through the Town and is frequented by walkers, hikers, bikers and skaters. The down town area of Danville has an eclectic array of retail shops, cafes, restaurants and book stores. With good schools, low crime and access to the Livermore Valley, this is a growing city with a small-town atmosphere.
